What are they like?

With studio563 these sessions are fun and casual.  We like to capture the thing that makes your relationship with one another unique.  When we look at engagement images we believe they should make us feel the romance and intimacy that is there in your relationship.  There is something between the two of you that only the two of you understand and our goal is to try and capture that for a lifetime.  For some helpful hints on what to where or some ideas of where to shoot visit the FAQ's and Help page here.

Can we do something original?

Absolutely!  We think themed shoots or trying to relive a specific era in these images is a total blast.  It takes a lot of work and effort to be intentional about it and for those of our clients who choose to do these types of shoots we say, "the sky is the limit"!  If there is an old soda shoppe or airplane hanger, or perhaps some New Orleans plantation that you would like to create something unique and fresh with then let's do it.  These types of shoots require much more leg work on the front end which is what prevents most couples from choosing something like this, but man when they do are they pleased.

How do I choose where to shoot?

We have several ideas and examples on our blogs that can help you narrow down these ideas for your shoot.  We want you to be excited about this shoot so we want you to speak into our location as much as possible.  When we are deciding where to shoot, we like to try and start that process by getting a feel of the style you want in this session.  

What kind of images will you shoot?

We are happy to accommodate  anything from classic and timeless posed portraiture to as creative and crazy as you are willing and wanting to get.  We know that there always needs to be some classic poses that will work great for parent gifts and announcements, but we also like to capture as much emotion as we can as well.  We will definitely listen to your wishes for this shoot and provide a finished product to suit.
